Our sales residency program has proven to be a win-win for us. We hire quality individuals who are here to learn and make a difference. This program exposes qualificants to a diverse variety of tasks, learning opportunities and hands-on experience. 

Residents experience a rotation through the departments of DeRoyal, building knowledge of sales, operations, DeRoyal® products and assisting with various company projects. Each person has the opportunity to travel with sales representatives and learn practical operations from medical locations such as hospitals, surgical centers, DMEs and more. 

While in the field, residents interact with clinicians, while providing in-service for DeRoyal® products. Working alongside sales representatives expands product knowledge and develops professional growth for residents. When traveling with sales representatives, residents also have the benefit of exploring and experiencing a new city. After completion of the residency program, sales residents may establish a successful role within the company – usually in medical device sales.

The main goal of the residency program is to coach, prepare and refine residents into becoming successful sales representatives running their own territory. With the healthcare landscape everchanging, that means that the opportunities are as well. During the training process, a resident may discover a new career path within marketing or as a product specialist.

To qualify, you must possess a Bachelor’s degree (minimum cumulative GPA 2.5) and a willingness to travel and relocate. Certainly, a professional attitude, appearance and enthusiasm to sell medical supplies would be a benefit. Excellent communication skills, the ability to take initiative and adapt to working in various work environments is a must for any DeRoyal position.

DeRoyal offers a base salary plus a housing stipend during the training period, relocation assistance, extensive in-house training programs, a professional selling environment and advancement opportunities.
